The Privacy Paradox of Personal Intelligence
Personal Intelligence works by building a detailed profile of user behavior, preferences, and context over time. The more you use it, the better it gets at predicting what you need. That’s the promise. But here’s what Google isn’t emphasizing: this feature requires collecting, storing, and analyzing massive amounts of personal data to function effectively.
Every query you make, every preference you express, every pattern in your behavior becomes training data for your personalized AI experience. The system needs to remember your past interactions, understand your current context, and anticipate your future needs. That’s not just data collection—that’s continuous surveillance with a friendly interface.
Attack Surface Expansion
As a security researcher, I look at Personal Intelligence and see an expanded attack surface. Each personalization feature represents a potential vulnerability. Consider these threat vectors:

Organizations need to start thinking about Personal Intelligence as a security concern, not just a productivity tool.
